`31.Mar.2018`	Ex-employee of TAO Group talked about Elate and Amiga DE In January of 2000 the new Amiga owner Amiga, Inc. announced a co-operation with the British TAO Group. Its product called Elate/Intent enabled the development of applications which are independent from the processor - which Amiga Inc. wanted to use to establish its Elate-based "AmigaDE" to as many as devices (handhelds, desktop computers, set-top-boxes). Since 1991 the predecessor product of Elate called "TAOS" was introduced in the British issue of the magazine Byte. Meanwhile the arcticle also is available online. David Given, an ex-employee of TAO Group, took the corresponding discussion for reporting about the development of the system and to point out its strengths and weaknesses. He also talked about the co-operaqtion with Amiga, Inc. The plan was that Amiga provides the customer support which the little TAO Group were not able to. She taught herself the BASIC and C programming languages to create "kinetic paintings" with the Amiga and has been using the Amiga ever since.
