heise: The City of Munich Advances with Linux Migration
Last Wednesday at a press conference at city hall, München's (Munich's) Mayor and SPD politician Christian Ude stated that the Munich government would go ahead and begin accepting bids for the outfitting of their desktops with unrestricted software, in spite of legal unclarity and persistent fears of a patent war over open source.

Cannon Fodder and Sensible Soccer for Mobile Telephone
Under the title link you'll find an english language interview with Tower Studios, a firm that was recently founded by Jon Hare (former leader of Sensible Software), Mike Montgomery (former leader of Bitmap Brothers) and John Phillips (former Technical Director of Bitmap Brothers). RISC OS: Castle Technology Ltd. and RISC OS Ltd. work together
After Chris Williams wrote an article at the end of April (amiga-news.de reported), where he wondered himself "Are we so dissimilar?", yesterday he could report of a historical event: United at long last - RISC OS Ltd. and Castle Technology Ltd. have published a common press release in which they explain their cooperation in future.
