Operating system: NetBSD 10.0
The Unix derivative NetBSD has been released in version 10.0. The eighteenth major version of the NetBSD operating system is also available as an original port for PowerPC-Amigas (experimental) and 68k-Amigas.

The global changes since the last version 9.3 are listed on the NetBSD website and include numerous performance, security and general aspects. Two new features are listed specifically for Amiga systems:
  1. support for Kickstart 3.2 (the release from 2020)
  2. loadbsd bootloader now loads the kernel into the highest priority memory segment instead of the largest segment
The following system requirements are specified for installation and operation on 68k Amigas: Amiga with 68020 processor or higher with MMU, at least 24 MB Fast RAM and at least 250 MB free hard disc space. An FPU is not required; according to the developers, the system "does not run correctly" on LC processors 68LC040 and 68LC060 as well as on the 68040V. (nba)

Puzzle game: Glubble
The "Revision" demo party takes place in Saarbrücken over the Easter weekend. The group Oxygen has published a puzzle game there called "Glubble", in which blobs of the same color have to be pushed together to form groups of the same color.

Glubble is a conversion of the PC game Yugo Puzzle. The title runs on any Amiga with one megabyte of RAM. If you want to play from hard disk you need more RAM. (cg)
