`10.Apr.2023`	AmigaOS 4: mySQLcontrol 2.10, myApacheStarter 3.10 mySQLcontrol by Michael Christoph is a database administration and editing program for the mySQL database server under AmigaOS 4. It requires the MySQL database server included in Edgar Schwan's development environment AAMP (and update if necessary). As the author writes, databases and tables can be created, deleted and changed via a Reaction-based interface. The table structure can also be changed. A SQL-QUERY query can also be used to select, display and edit specific data records. Likewise, a connection to a mySQL server on another computer or on the Internet can be established via the Prefs window. The current version 2.10 has been recompiled with the current SDK (see also part 1 and part 2 of our "Introduction to the Software Development Kit"), gcc and AAMP libs. Likewise, many of the (SQL) error texts that were previously fixed in the programme have been translated and moved out. The programme can be requested free of charge by filling out the form under the title link. Michael Christoph has also recompiled his tool myApacheStarter for starting, stopping and configuring the Apache web server with the current SDK and gcc and released it as version 3.10. `10.Apr.2023` Mad Hackers Lab (ANF)	USB-C Power Supply for Amiga announced At the title link a USB-C-based power supply called "PowerShark" has been announced for Amiga 500, 600 and 1200. Battery-powered USB-C chargers would also be supported, as would magnetic USB-C adapters. Currently, however, only a text-only description has been published. But with BeamRacer (for the C64) there exists already a purchasable product from Mad Hackers Lab, and a CAD screenshot of the PowerShark is available to amiga-news.de. (snx) [News message: 10. `08.Apr.2023`	Mastodon client: Amidon 1.1 Dimitris 'MiDWaN' Panokostas, author of the Amiga emulator Amiberry, has released version 1.1 of his Mastodon client Amidon for AmigaOS 3 (amiga-news.de reported). Changes: Implemented Profile view Updated Readme with more details on the requirements Added more icons (GlowIcon, MagicWB, 4-color) Eliminated the dependency on the MUI Hyperlink class, as it caused issues with some users and it's not part of the MUI 3.9 package. Redesigned the Login process, instead of a link to press on, you now have a copy/paste procedure with buttons to help you. Only open the Login window if a server name was provided. `08.Apr.2023`	Floppy disk images on PC and Mac: Greaseweazle Tools 1.10 Keir Fraser's "Greaseweazle" does - similar to Kryoflux - read the magnetic information on a floppy disk independently from the format used and saves as much information as possible to generate a so-called "Flux Level Image" in Supercard format (SCP), which enables reading and back-writing of copy-protected disks (amiga-news.de reported) The adapter gets connected between a floppy disk drive - e.g. a standard 3.5" PC one - and a USB port of the PC or Mac.
